How It Works
The AMG8833 detects infrared radiation emitted by objects in its field of view. The sensor measures temperature at 64 individual points arranged in an 8×8 array and provides the temperature information digitally to a compatible controller. The individual measurements can be processed to create a low-resolution thermal image or temperature map.
