How It Works

The AM2305 uses a capacitive humidity sensing element to detect changes in relative humidity and a temperature sensing element to measure the surrounding temperature.

The internal electronics process the sensor measurements and provide the resulting temperature and humidity information through a digital interface. A compatible microcontroller can read the digital data for monitoring, display, logging or control applications.
